Standard Four

Reflections This week’s journey has been the most overwhelming to date. We had to explore 5-7 Web 2.0 tools, and to my amazement, there are hundreds (maybe thousands) of them to choose from. The large number of possibilities is truly overwhelming, to someone who did not know the difference between Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 tools until this week! I can imagine droves of applications for personal and educational use, but thinking about them even five at a time was flabbergasting, causing me to see the forest and not the trees. Later on, I will go back and look at tools like Fotoflexer and blurb. Fotoflexer+ is a photo editing program, which may or may not have more features than the one I already use. Blurb is a place to self-publish books and this is one web tool I really want to examine in depth.
